The only megan racing ss 02 housing i can find is the 2.5 flange. How do i make this work thought same product name would make a same size product but i guess not.

Yea man i searched it on google and did a little research on here. but i am sorry i forgot the flange on the front was 2.5. but for real i am sorry throw this in the graveyard sorry again! not trying to trash up the site.won't happen again!

Take it to a exhaust shop and have them modified it..or call megan and ask simply as that

Yea how about you get your facts straight i was checking before i buy it and run into alot of problems so go on to the next post and worry about that one dude!!! I did some research couldn't find what i needed so ask some guys who know more then i do my bad dude.

The holes in the downpipe and the O2 housing are usually slotted. This allows the use of different sized flanges when bolting the system together. I do not think you will find a off the shelf O2 housing with a 3" outlet most are 2.5".

I purchased a downpipe off ebay that had a 2.5" inlet flange and after about 2" the pipe expanded to 3" for the rest of the pipe. I did this to avoid any flange mismatch that could cause turbulence.

Yea i found all that but like i said i misread the piping on the down pipe so was looking for a 3inch 02 housing. i found 2.5 same add you found but thought it wouldn't fit because my misread.but thank you turboanything for answering the correct way your input was all i needed.

Oh, but they do Mike. Rule #2 in the "Before You Reply" section:

Thread cleaned up and warnings handed out.

haha this thread gave me a good laugh!!

But I agree, Always trying to do something yourself and knowing that the issue might be will not only be much more helpful when trying to figure an issue out, it will continue to help you learn new things and improve your mechanix skills. For example, My Punishment DP doest fit quite right for whatever reason. Why you might ask?

When I went to install the DP, I have 2 issues, First being that the dp for whatever reason seems to like to rub against my transfer case when the bolts are tightened down and second the mating of the flanges on the PR mild steel o2 housing and Punishment dp are a very exact fit and if slightly off, causes an exhaust leak. Not to mention the stock DP collar hanger is in the way and I have not had the chance to remove it and re-align the DP to the O2.

Really?! I emailed PR about it and even sent them pictures of the setup and they told me that there should be no fitment issues and that all I had to do was to adjust the connection points of the O2 and catback.. Only when you do that, it doesn't line up properly and causes your exhaust to have some nice leaks in it.

** hey look last post again :D**
