hi every1 i been reading the forms for a while there pritty cool so desided to join
i have a 95 talon tsi awd few problems with it see if some1 can help me out

frist problem i in stilled a boost gage when i start car in motning and boost i will get around 10 to 12 pounds but when car come to temp i only get 5 to 6 pounds what would couse this

2 i want to install a aftermarket wastegate and headers how do i get rid of stock one

3 i was told you can just the obd1 plug to find out chack engin light how do you do this

4 is there any tips ot trick to get more power out of stock motor more boost ect ect

5 i have no rev all other gears shift fine but its like rev ante there

6 this has to do with 5 if this rev problem is the tranny can i do tranny swap with out removing tranfer case

Read, read, and read some more on these forums and don't be afraid to search.;) There's no need to get a new manifold ("headers") and wastegate with a stock t-25 turbo.LOL

Just go to Autozone and they will hook up a scanner for free and tell you what is giving you your check engine light, because your car is OBD2.;) If it were a first gen dsm you would have OBD1 and they couldn't check your codes.:(
 
i dont understand obd1 gose to 95 obd2 is 96 up mine is a 95 it looks like a obd2 plug but i have a obd2 scanner and it wont read car also we dont have autozone here and anywere around here wants like 80 to 100 to tell u codes

Not necessarily, believe it or not some of the earlier '95's were still OBDI and he's in Canada so who knows?! If it has a rear o2 sensor behind the catalytic converter then its OBDII so look under the car for the sensor going into the exhaust.

ok i just looked under car and it gose down pipe in to cat then o2 sencer then out to muffler
but i have a odb2 reader and when i plug it in it reads then error

If it plugs in then you have the right one, because they are shaped differently and one won't fit one another. Notice how the OBD1 has square corners (90*) and the OBD2 doesn't.

The OBD2 one is on the top and the OBD1 is on the bottom in the pictures below.

being a stock 7 bolt i wouldn't push it to hard you could go around 12 or 13 psi is what id recommend and getting rid of all the stock rubber pipes and putting in hard pipes you could check out dejon for that and putting on an external filter along with that would help a decent amount. as far as anything else you could do the balance shaft removal as well. and on to the odb portion like was stated being your are in canada its hard to say what was done with the cars up there its possible that it still could be ODB1. with the rev issue its hard to say what that could be you said it goes into gear and drives fine so i doubt its the tranny.
 
wow op check and make sure your fuse for your dlc is good (usually you have an iod that powers it not 100% on 2gs)

I have no idea what you are talking about here, but no you cannot do a tranny swap without removing the transfer case. After all it goes on a splined output shaft on the transmission and is bolted to it too.;) No need to worry about that though as it is pretty easy to get off and on. The tranny is much more work than the transfer case to remove.
