I know there's a thread with pictures and everything around here somewhere but can't find it.
Noticed the "original" transmission for my car has a shorter vertical arm on the transmission, and the one I've been using has the longer one. The one I've been using is a 91 by VIN, but I don't know if the arm is original. So I'm wondering which arm is supposed to be in a 92. The shifter, cables, and bracket are for a 92. But I have a feeling this long arm isn't supposed to be here and is one of the reasons I've had nothing but problems when things should be getting better.
As an aside, I'd also like to know the differences between the horizontal arms, because I won't put it past someone at this point to have screwed around with them too.
Edit: This thread suggests the long arm is correct for my car, and I think it's the one I was looking for. But the pictures no longer work. So it seems I have a spare 90 AWD tranny.
Can't trust anything anyone says anymore.
