I have a hallman boost controller that I am trying to install on the radiator.
The screw just does not want to screw on the radiator with the boost controller bracket.
Any ideals..

I mounted mine in that same exact spot. I fought with it for a minute or two then grabbed a longer bolt, which worked great.

Super old pics. Now many things have changed. The bracket is now powdercoated the same color as my IC piping and different underhood stuff.
I have the hallman evo in-cabin but still shows a great place/way to mount it.

Thanks guys.
I was messing around with it for an hour in the 96deg weather and i gave up.
Its funny how one simple thing can really piss you off!
Anyone have the dimensions for a longer bolt?
If not I will try squeezing the clamp more.

If you go with a bolt thats much longer you will punch through the radiator.. Why not just get a dremel or something and make the hole bigger when you squeeze it tighter so it will go through? I wouldnt put a longer bolt there however...

Dang I don't have a camera. Picture this... I took off the coolant reservoir and the hole you see on the reservoir you get a zip tie and tie it around the reservoir tank through the hole with the boost clock thingy facing up instead of sideways like this picture. Wedge between the reservoir and radiator. I have a hallman pro also. So far so good and it holds tight also because the stupid seller didn't give me the holder.

Add in the under-hood temp and your right at about 120-130 degrees. I hate working under hood in this weather. I left a fan running under-hood a car at work - gauranteed when i return from my lunch break (45min-1hr) it will still be hot to the touch.

Alright I used a different screw and it fits nice and tight now.
But now I have a problem with turning up the boost.
No matter how far I move the knob to the + position the car will only boost around 12-14psi. The car boosted most of the time at 14psi before I installed the HMBC..
I believe I have the lines hooked up right. I did a BLT and found nothing.
Is the HMBC suppose to rattle when you shake it?
Any ideals on what the problem is?

Yeah it's hooked up right. I don't know about the rattling noise, I haven't shaken mine in a while, LOL. I would have said to do a boost leak test but you said you already did that. Did you change anything else when you installed the MBC?

I did new rotors, brake pads, calipers, new turbo gasket, new exhaust manifold gasket and a FP manifold.
I did a BLT with soapy water up to 20psi.
EDIT: I do have bosch platinum plugs in there that the previous owner installed. I know they are not good for nothing, could that be an issue?
Monday I plan on getting NGK BPR6ES from pepboys.
