non turbo to turbo 1G engine+ecu swap..will it pass NY inspection??

I have a 94 talon NT car and I have a 90 talon turbo engine that I want to put in my car. I also have to pass ny inspection and the only thing im not sure about is the turbo ecu. Will that be a problem? Im pretty sure I read that I wont pass if I change the ecu. Im gonna pass inspection with the NT first and then do the swap but the next time I get it inspected Im not sure what will happen.

You WILL pass. The issue with switching ecu's is only with OBDII (96 and up) cars. I used to be a licensed inspector in NY. They won't even hook your car up to the computer.
