Alright all of a sudden my light has been comeing on. I tryed resetting it the right way and as soon as the car moves it flicks back on. If i sit still it will stay off. also i havnt done any break jobs or anything like that. the breaks will lock up i tested it =) all fuses are good. i dont know how to test any of the moduels to see if they arnt working. Thanks for any help.

I'm pretty sure that the dealer can scan the ABS module to see if there are any errors stored, but I'm not sure if there is any sort of charge.

Some things to check are: 1) The accelerameter under the back seat. It's attached to the seatbelt latch bolted to the car. Sometimes the connector comes loose and will trip the ABS light.

2) Like badabing said, check your brake fluid reservoir level and lines. If the level gets low or there are cracks/breaks, air can be sucked into the lines causing air bubbles in the fluid. Sometimes those bubbles can make their way into the ABS module and may kick the light on.

3) The ABS sensors that measure the reluctor rings under the brake discs could be going bad or the wires may be compromised. The FSM should have the proper procedure for checking these.

Hopefully these are some starting points to work from. If I can think of anymore, I'll post back.

Yes, try what was mentioned above; could just be some aging wiring. See if you can find someone with a Snap-on/Matco scanner scanner that can access the ABS controller. This way you can see if the speed sensors are reading correctly. I do not know a way to check those without the scanner, unfortunally.

Good luck!
