P0100.....Volume Air Flow circuit
P0105.....BARO Pressure circuit.
P0110.....Intake Air Temperature circuit.
P0115.....Engine Coolant Temperature circuit.
P0705.....Transmission Range Sensor circuit (PRNDL - Input).

Most of these are pretty self explanatory I think.

1. replace mass airflow
2. replace mdp
3. IAT is inside mass airflow?
4. Already replaced the ECT that signals to ECU

.. but #5 has me all sorts of confused. Wtf is the transmission range sensor ? My trans is definately having some serious problems with randomly downshifting or upshifting, and I gather this is something with the TCU sucking ass at telling the trans what gear to be in?

edit: found this: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/att...-engine-bay-tutorial-engine-bay-tutorial3.jpg

#24 is the range sensor? just need to replace that?

The first 3 are inside your MAF, nothing to do with the MDP. Not to question you or anything, but are you sure it's plugged in? I've pulled those codes before when I forgot to plug it back in after working on it. If not, swap it out for a known working MAF.

What are your coolant temps doing? Can you log them?

Its definately plugged in.

I only had 3 codes when I got the car, and it was the IAT / baro . Also had a cps code but I replaced that and its good.

I have a friend who's selling me his 2g maf thats known to work for $30, so i'll grab that later today, stick it in, see if its working better.

No way to log coolant temps, but the whole car is stock, the gauge inside works fine, but the fans do seem to always come on no matter what. Maybe I got a faulty sensor from O Reillys?

I'll throw my friends maf on, go clear the codes, and see if they come back.

I'm most worried about the transmission though.....

P0705 is a code that pops up when park/neutral switch fails. Here is a picture of the connector and the chart that goes with it. Check for continuity by placing the leads in the corresponding terminal ends. If no continuity anywhere replace the switch.

Well it starts / runs / drives. But the transmission is acting very weird.

From a stop, if you floor it, it just kinda goes... slowly... then it downshifts, starts to boost, upshifts, downshifts, etc. It acts like it doesn't know what gear it wants to be in.

Also, put the known working MAF in, and it still runs extremely rich
