anybody know where this wire goes?

95 tsi awd 5speed
so i pressure washed my engine earlier and noticed a have a cut wire just chillin by the power steering res on the drivers side. it is a black/red wire (circled in red) that is grounded to the body, anybody know what this is? and also have a wire connector (circled in blue) that i believe is for the hood pin switch? can anybody confirm these wires for me? Thanks in advance guys!

The red circle is a ground for shure.the blue circle is I think a ac system plug not for shure though on that one.

i believe that the ac is this red connector and is plugged in?

and i better check again in the light but the 1 circled in blue has a blue/white wire and a grey wire.. going to check tomorrow and make sure those colors are accurate
