hey i have a 93 tsi awd 5spd stock turbo 3"exhaust, greddy b.o.v. 255 f.p. and bought the car with the safcII already installed. the car breaks up terribly at about 2800-4500. with the safcII unplugged.. with it hooked up i cannot get the car above 2800 it feels like the world is coming to an end!!!!!

ok my question is in the setup screen it says hot wire, flap, karman, and another thing. but all of these say 01 in 01 out... as to what i read on the site everyone says only karman.. should i 00 all the others???? . and is it necessary to 0 all the high and low correction % in the rpm range?please help i need this b#$#@ running asap :pray::pray:

How old are the plugs and wires, and check to make sure the safc is installed correctly. If installed improperly it could not be counting from the mas.

plugs and wires are brand new.. accel wires and ngk plugs and the coil is new as well.

You can't just unhook the SAFC without doing some additional wiring. When the SAFC is installed, you have to physically cut the MAS wire before it hits the ECU. This allows the SAFC to pick up the Karmen frequency and apply the correction factors before the information is passed to the ECU. So, if you remove the SAFC, you have to reconnect the MAS wire or the ECU will no receive any information from the MAS sensor.

sounds like its not properly installed, for help with settings check --> RRE's Super AFC Setting and Adjustment Tips for some additional help --> http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-tuning-ecu/58403-definitive-piggyback-tuning-guide.html i would check here to insure its properly hooked up --> Apexi-USA - Support and one last thing if you follow the afc install from apexi website the rpm wire needs to go to pin 21 on the ecu as apexi is wrong, anything else i can try to help with let me know.
