Greddy Type-S Black Top?

So is there a difference between the Purple and Black Type-S bov's? I couldn't find anything on google or here about this.

Are you sure? Mine has no purple paint under the black and still has the plastic protective cover on the Greddy label.

Post a pic I have never seen a true type s that was black.I have seen plenty of ebay knock offs but no true greddys.

Here's some quick pictures that I just took (macro setting isn't that good). I've been cleaning it so thats why some spots are shinier than others.

Also, the reason that the Greddy label on the top of the bov looks like crap is the protective cover is still on it, mostly.

Here's brand new one in the box... looks authentic. Maybe the popularity of the color purple dropped off so they tried black for a short time? ...

Yup its just black same as the purple one I just got rid of mine....the type rs is black and its the next step up.
