Clean Up Used Exhaust

Whats the best way to clean up my used thermal R&D exhaust? s.o.s pads? then some mag polish? then i was going to grind the flanges down to get the rust off, and get new bolts. and there are some scratches on the folgers can part of the exhaust. they are pretty deep, anyway to clean those up?

ill get some pics up in 10 min.

chrome cleaner, rust remover, polish, buff

you can allways sand out the scratches then buff it out

s.o.s pads, hot water, lots of scrubbing, and then some car wax got me this... might go after school tomarrow and pick up some chrome polish, or a little more aggressive rubbing compound.

still some blemishes on the tip where the bumper almost touches the tip (topside)

anyone know how to clean out the fart can portion of the exhaust? i was cleaning the exhaust and i was dumping hot water down the tubing and now when i tilt the exhaust it sounds like there is a bag of sand in there. is it bad?

There is a quicker way to clean stuff like this. You need 3 things. 1) 12oz can of Coke Cola 2) Baseball size ball of aluminum foil 3) a whole can of elbow grease.

Works awesome!

That looks real good. A small can of mothers polish would really brighten it up.

anyone know about the "bag of sand" in the can of the exhaust? is it fine? or should i remove it somehow.
