So I ordered and received my Dejon 3" exhaust, adjusted to fit the EVO3 O2 housing that I got. I can't install it until Saturday but I'm pretty pumped. :hellyeah: By the way, what should I use to clean the surfaces of the Evo3 O2 housing before I put it on (it's used)? I also have an Evo3 manifold that will be going on soon... Here's some pics of the exhaust:

Do you mean just the surface between the o2 housing and the down pipe? or the entire surface like the outside, or inside? if you mean just between the two an orbital sander with a buffing pad will work pretty well.

That should be fun when you get it on. About you o2 housing not that impotent to clean it up but i would. i would just clean the gasket surfaces.

JLindback-yes, I meant only between the O2 and downpipe. I'll try your sander tecnique. Thanks!

Eclipse_16g-It was about 550 shipped to my house. The only downside is that it isn't Stainless steel, but I'm not too worried about that. They do not use salt on the roads, and if they do, it's super rare.

Thanks Dragon-I'll definitely clean them up before assembling.

You got it man. This was the information that I was searching all over the place when I was trying to decide what exhaust to go with a few months ago. I should be installing it on the car tomorrow.

Sorry it's taking so long-I worked on the car for 8 hours on Saturday. I fixed a brake issue that I had, replaced a broken parking brake cable, and then started the exhaust, which included replacing the stock O2 housing with an Evo3 unit. That took me sooooooooo long to get off. I was freakin' beat! Anyway, got the new-to-me O2 housing on, mounted the downpipe, which fits like a glove. Installed the straight pipe, which the welds on the flange appear to spill over a little into the area that the nuts seat in. I had to tighten these down pretty good to get a good seal. I'll get some pictures soon. Then I tried to mount the tail pipe section. This is where I ran into issues. The pipe is not slip fit. They are the exact same size, which is good if you have a welder, but I don't. I tried to mount them up partially with an exhaust hanger (so I could continue down the car and see if there was any other fitment problems). When mounted end-to-end, the tail pipe section to the muffler doesn't sit right. The metal hanger that comes with the kit sits the muffler way too low. I have a lot of adjusting to do before I can call the job done. I ran out of time, and probably won't work on it until the weekend. I did go out and buy a stainless steel clamp to clamp the exhaust together, but I will need to cut at least 2 inches off the pipe. I'll post more when I have it.

So I emailed Dave at Dejon Powerhouse. Dave at Dejon replied and said that it was their mistake, that one of the sections is supposed to be expanded to slip onto the other one. They refunded $10 Today I swung into Harbor Freight and picked up an exhaust pipe expander. I'll give it a shot on Saturday. I should be able to get some good pictures of everything installed at that time.

The exhaust fit pretty well. It sits a hair low and slightly off from straight out the stock location. You will need to make or adjust your exhaust hangers to get it to fit nicely. It sounds good, but not as throaty as I thought it would. High RPMs sounds nice. I'll try and get some pictures and videos of it for posting.
