99 GS pcm smoking...
I just replaced an engine in a 99 Eclipse GS and seem to have an issue... When I turn the key on, the rpms read 8125 on my scan tool. It will not even try to fire. Checked all the connectors. Camshaft pos code came up. I put on a new cam sensor and crank sensor, still nothing. Saw the PCM start smoking so I just got a rebuilt PCM and tried it and it also started smoking while just having the key on. The original engine had slung a rod and I dropped in a used engine. Bout to go crazy... haha. Any help would be great, thanks..
Oh, and the tach goes crazy when I was trying to crank it...
