I Know a common thing to do with the suspension on the DSM's are using Eibach Pro-Kit/Sportline Kit Springs with KYB AGX Shocks/Struts.

I have the Eibach Pro-Kit springs currently, and was considering using the KYB AGX shocks. I reciently contacted KYB tech supprot and asked if the shocks would work well with the lowering springs. He replied back that the fronts would be ok, but the rears would mess up the rear.

My question is that although many of you have used this set up before, has anybody had any problems with this set up?

It will work.

Biggest thing you risk is blowing the strut early because of the added compression, and this will happen eventually.

Second one will probably force you to do some camber adjustment :)

I'm not really worried too much about the camber, i already have the rear camber kit. I am however concerned about blowing the strut.
Thanks for your input.

Youre gonna be in that boat sooner or later with any standard strut, gr-2, agx, tokiko etc.. only way to circumvent is to go with a good shock (like konis) that you can adjust to lower 1" out of the box or get coilovers.

I've blown shocks before from this. From my experiences the fronts gave out first (2.25 drop) and the rears have lasted through (2" w/ AGX) although they are getting real soft now.

Either way the AGXs will last for a while but eventually they will blow.
