c,
like the title says. i've been planning on buying dsmlink for a while but the more I think about it, the less I want to spend that much money for it considering how thin my wallet is LOL. I'm now also considering using ostrich instead. but my real question is this, it seems advantageous to use speed density, so assuming i bought ostrich/dsmlink what else would i need?

You will need a moats ostrich, wideband, eprom that is socketed, map senosr and a GM AIT sensor. A new release of Jackal came out and there are a few different map sensors you can use now. Up to the AEM 5 bar. So you wont be boost limited I promise. Check out ds-map.net for more info. I mod there so send me a PM if you need more help.

i resurrect thee!!!:beatentodeath: Only because I don't want to start a new one....

My question is about the wideband. Just the sensor, or the whole chebang? As in a gauge, etc? And did I waste $40 on the Sunpro gauge I bought? LOL

You need the sensor and controller. The ECU doesn't support a wideband O2 sensor so you need the controller to act as an interface and then feed it's output to the ECU.
