1g N/T Eprom ECU

Ok, so i have a NON/TURBO eprom ecu from a 91 talon, and i have found some but very little information about being able to convert it to a turbo eprom ecu, something about switching over the knock sensor circut, there was another thread about something similar to this but the pics dont show up anymore and nobody replied to it anyways so, help is very much appreciated. i can post pics of the ecu if needed, thanx.

You have to source and install a knock board, swap the capacitors and resistors in the injector snubbers, install the missing driver chips, add a couple of resistors, and restrap a couple of jumpers. Since you'll need a turbo ECU for the parts you sit them side by side and note the differences before you start.

I'm too drunk to sign any contracts, but maybe you'll want to sell that eprom NT ecu to me to help offset the cost of a turbo ecu? If it works in my 93, I might want it. I think sometimes about building an NT 2.4 for my DD. Eprom ecu could be usefull. PM me.

well, i would much rather just use a turbo eprom, than to try to swap all of that stuff, but people want to much money form them, i cant afford them. But i am going to need one, if it is realy going to be that much of a PITA then i prob will sell it and just try to find one or buy one.

I'm biased since I fix ECUs but I really don't think people want too much money for a EPROM ECU. Consider what other parts cost, the relative importance and it makes a good ECU look like a bargain.

Just buy a turbo eprom. I picked mine up (and have seen several since) go for 150.

well, i didnt mean they want too much, more like they always wanted more than i had at the time, . yeah i looked last night and found a few for 150, so ill try to get one of those, but now i have a tmo chip that i cant use, which is kind of annoying.
