is this possible? has anyone tried? i understand that one is garret and one is mitsu but I have a good 14b with a snapped stud in the exhaust housing and i have this other turbo lying here so i figured it would be worth a shot to ask.

Nope, won't fit.

Exhaust housings are completely different.
