Ok so here is what I did I herd my ISC could be bad so I did the test on it. All the OHM's came out fine 28-33. So I grabbed a 6v battery stuck in on my thought and it worked (also tested it with meter and got 5.85V).

So here is what I did and see if I did it correct I took a alligator clamp cut it in half and put 1 end of each on the +, - of the battery. Then I took the half's with the clamps on and clamped ( so 1 point was on a coil and other one was on the other) 2,5 and the negative to 3, 6 and there was no movement I think I set it up correct if you get how I did it. Ill try to make a paint image of how I did it.


The whole reason I did it was because when I first started my car (cold) It would idle at about 1900-2k RPM and slowly drop as it warmed up. When it got fully warm my car will just die. And I start it up and it will just start then die. If I let it cool off I can start it back up fine. Also if I keep the gas on it will not die as well. Tell me what you think ill be on paint making that image for you guys. 1991 eagle talon tsi awd


Also when i unplugged the ISC the "check engine" didnt come on

well from the other posts that i have read and researched on here it sounds to me like u do indeed have a bad ISC that just isnt that bad yet if that makes sense. it is going out and i would recommend replaceimng before it takes out your ecu like mine did a few weeks ago, it sucks big time. not a very cheap fix either im sure you know.
 
I have the same problem with my 91 tsi. I'm putting a new ISC on it in the morning hoping this is the problem. Ill let you know how it goes.
