I am planning on changing my tob in a few weeks, and I have a few questions. Four days should be plenty of time to get it done right? The only reason I ask is because I have basic tools and no lift, just jacks and jackstands. Is it hard to do? I don't think I am worried as much about getting it all off as I am getting it back together. How do I change the actual tob when the transmission is off? Is there anything else I should change while I am in there? Clutch was changed less than 5k ago, and flywheel was resurfaced then too. But the yahoo who owned it before me didn't do the tob.

Yes four days will do it ive done a clutch in one day. All you have to do to change the throw out bearing is take the thin metal retainer off the old one an pay attention to how it is on there in the first place but its easy to figure out if u dont. Then grease the shaft that the tob slides on. I dunno if everyone else does it but when i went to see shep in ohio he told me to grease that shaft and the shaft that the transfer case connects to an assemble. Any questions message me.

Def will be getting back to you since you put that offer on the table.

But I need to order the stuff tonight, anything worth getting besides the tob?

basically, get a new tob (OEM!), and a new pivot ball and fork while you're there...check to see if you need a new dust cover for the fork.

Here's what my order list looks like? Just wanted to make sure this is everything I should need?

MIT-MD749998 OEM Throwout Bearing : Mits...

MIT-MD706185 OEM Clutch Release Clip : M..

MIT-MD770506 OEM Clutch Release Fork : M...

MIT-MD719602 OEM Clutch Pivot Ball : Mit...

What fluid/how much should I get for the transmission and transfer case?

Its really up to you, some people swear by Pennzoil Syncromesh and others (myself included) don't like it. I have heard good things about Redline, BG Syncroshift, Royal Purple etc. Just make sure to stick with a GL-4 rated fluid. I personally run Royal Purple 75w-90 in my tranny and transfer case and I love it.

How much do I need for both
