1ga headlight locked up

So my headlight locked up. Has anyone else had this problem? I have pulled out the entire assembly, the motor still works fine, but the swivel points have jammed.

Think a penitrant will work? PB Blaster, maybe WD-40? Its like it has rusted shut, I can't even force it open.

when i bought my 1G it had been sitting for 2 years and the headlights were rusted shut, everytime i went to click them on the white swivels would pop off the ball joints. I treated it with PB blaster and worked them up and down by hand for about an hour then i would spray them once a day for about a week. havnt had a problem in over 6 months.

That sounds like my exact plroblem. Only the drivers side swivel pops off.

I love the sleepy look, but the light doesn't budge at all. It stays closed and the motor makes awful noises.

I am at work and I left my wallet at home. White lithium grease seems to be doing well.
