ok ive posted before and keep getting alot of different things that might be wrong. i put on a new valve cover and took my car for a drive and then it died and hasnt started since. there is no spark to any of the wires and the car just cranks and cranks but wont turn over .. ive been told that it could be the coil packs and then it could be a ignition control modeule and now an ecu .. i was told that if the check engine light doesnt come on when the key is in the on position that the ecu is bad so is that true.. or is the ignition control mod bad or is it the packs

Are you sure its not getting spark? Could be that its not getting any fuel.

Did you check the fuses? If those are good, do a fuel pump check (connector near battery) and make sure the fuel pump is working. If it is, then I'd say its the coil packs. Could be the ECU but I doubt it....I don't think it would even crank if it were the ECU.
