Help with 6 bolt swap in a 2gb talon...

Im finishing up the swap on my brothers 97 tsi.I have done it on my 95, but Im confused about the cas.We got the rre harness and its different than mine.My harness has a two to one plug set up where as his has a plug at each end and a random unconnected white wire coming off it.Wtf?

On RRE's website it says, "On '97-'99 Eclipses, you need to grab this blue wire from the 2G CAM sensor plug and solder to the white wire coming out the CAS harness."

Yeah I saw that.But that looks like they didnt use the harness they sold.That looks like they are showing how to do it your self.
