I'm doing the balance shaft delete mod on my new motor. I had my machine shop do one part of the process that needed to be done to the block, Now I need to do the other part of the process. I'm just not understanding the VFAQ write up. If anyone whose done this mod please help? I have a brand new oil pump that just arrived.

I had same problem when I first did it ROFL.. The stubby shaft replaces the oil pump balance shaft, just install it as if you were installing the balance. When you have that bolted up make sure you dont forget to put that castle nut back on..

Now for the plug, It goes on other balace shaft ( the one with out the oil pum). Pull out that balace shaft front case
seal and install the plug with some JB weld, and let it dry and thats it for that.

For the O rings, They go in your block. all you do is make sure the ring seals the oil squirter for the balance shaft. :thumb:

Here is a pic of my front case with the pulg and JB weld ROFL
