If you are upgrading to improve throttle response, hold off. The thing that affected throttle response the most was removing my cruise control and switching to a non-cruise control cable.

Of course, there are alot of other reasons to upgrade, including the fact that the stock rubber hose is shitty and prone to leaks.

Keep in mind your link doesn't come with couplers, still uses a substantial length of stock hose, and isn't much cheaper than a Dejon Tool.
 
Never thought of doing this, I never use my cruise anyways. What type of difference did you see?
