Thought it was the alignment, had that done.. Still no good .. I have tons of tire noise. Something like a WAAAAH WAAH WAH noise at all speeds.. Just replaced the wheel bearings in Jan. that was my second guess.. What else could it be.. Bad suspension components make many problems for tires.. They are wearing as if they were over inflated but I've checked numerous times TIres are inflated to spec. Any input would be great.

he already said that he had an alignment done, which in turn would have had his wheels torqued and already checked the pressure. his camber would not cause his tires to wear the center down as if his tires were over inflated. depending on what tires he has or out of balanced tires can cause road noise. some tires can also wear unevenly.

Agreed. What size tires are on the car and how old are they. Also, i would check to see if the wheels are balanced. Lug nuts will make a clanking sound and so do suspension components. And, wheel bearings make a grinding sound, and the tires make a waahh sound. So, if your saying the right noise, i would have to say its a tire issue.

the tires I got in march.. I told them I wanted my tires balanced when I got the alignment. SO I think I should have got them balanced.. ANy idea what else it could be... It is making alot of noise almost to the point where you wouldn't want to drive it because it makes so much noise..

So there is no clunking or grinding? Does it make the same sound as a truck with big tires driving by on the freeway?

Now, there was one thing I forgot to mention was that the inner fenders of these thing are plastic and are held to the edge of the fenders by plastic bolts. Lot of times, these plastic bolts love to break and that lower part of that inner fender is loose, and by the air pressure during forward motion of the car, that chunk of plastic will go into the tire itself and can cause this noise.

..something to chek .. DSM

I haven't ran the car on jackstands ... Not very safe.. I do have a lift at my grandfathers I'll give that a shot. but. as far as I know it might make a little clunk in the front suspension every once in a while. I filled the tires up to the specs on the tires. and as far as rotating them I have no idea how many miles were on them but I just rotated them. It isn't the same noise as a big truck. It is a viberation. And the viberation gets more intense with I turn the wheel to the left. However never goes away.

The number on the side of the tire is the MAXIMUM that you can fill them to. Usually for a car like ours 30-32 psi is about right but it does depend on the tire and on the driving conditions. Is it in fact all four tires? I also would not run the car on jackstands, I know some people do but this sort of this is just asking to go through a garage wall. At one point I had a similar problem with a truck that was running 10ply sport kings that called for 82psi on the side of the tire and someone actually filled them to that level when the truck was just a 1/2 ton which should have never seen more than about 45psi in the tires, we ended up with a lot less noise and a lot better handling once we set the tires a little lower.

could it be anything else ? I mean nobody has had any weird problems like this ? I can't beleive it isn't something very simple..
