Defintally looks good, im getting ready to start almost the same project, just looking for a DD-Strip motor. I'm going to use 2g pistons with 1g rods thought. I really like the valve cover is that powder coated?

Are you going to have a way to properly vent the RFL bov?

Otherwise, looks like a nice build. Minus all the added weight (audio stuff).

Also, I'd recommend looking into moving/continuing your build thread in this forum:
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/project-build-logs/

You just start a thread in there with a link to your blog. All of the build is contained in your blog and then you're allowed to update the thread so that it shows up in the iSpy/new posts. The newbie section isn't the spot for a build thread either. Let me know if you need some help with setting it up and moving it over.

Yeah, build is looking really good buddy... makes me want to go to the garage and do something to my build... Valve cover does look nice, do I see a little blue sparkle going!!!

I have a questions for ya, do those aem gauges replace a S AFC also, or do you still need that as well?

What do you mean properly vent the RFL?

No they do not replace an SAFC. The wideband is to monitor your air/fuel ratio and the AEM tru boost is a boost gauge/controller. You still need and SAFC to tune your fuel.

Nice setup your going with. I love that mani!! You just need to get a GM MAF and a MAFT and convert yourself to blow thru setup to run that BOV.

crap, so by installing this BOV now what will happen? the whole car will run like shit if you don't reserculate?

will i through a CEL ?

because the intercooler piping that i got comes with the adapter for the RFL BOV. so i don't really have a choice?

Personally I would just convert to blow thru though. My setup cost me 200.
Do you have anything to tune with? SAFC? DSM Link? Or do you have a datalogger?

Also I would get a 255 fuel pump if you dont already have one.

right so that probibly wont work because i need a turboxs FLANGE to a HKS BOV adaptor now due to my hard pipe being made for a turboxs application.

it says it will work for an RFL as well.

so with the greddy or the HKS i dont need to worry about this problem??

because if so i will call extreme turbo systems and buy another hard pipe with the hks or greddy flange

Why not just call them back and see if you could exchange your pipe with another one? You never know what could happen if you ask nicely and explain the situation. They're an excellent company and would hopefully be willing to work with you.

If not, pick which bov you'd like to go with then either get another pipe or change out the flange.

sweet build! i just dont recommend using the rfl bov. im stuck using one right now because i just spent all my money on my rebuild haha but you can recirculate it and it doesnt seal right because its just the 3 allen screws that connect it
