oil pressure clip

so ive been trying for about 2 hrs to figure out how to get the green clip off on the back of the block to insert a tee for the mechanical oil pressure gauge. anyone know how to get it off??

I'm not sure what you mean by "green clip"... :/

the stock sender unit on the 420a is a green clip, i jus dont know how it comes off
