1g Front Bumper Questions

I was wondering where i could get a bumper like the one below. i had a 94 talon and it had one exactly like that but red. now i have a 91 talon and i dont really like that style bumper. now the 94 talon i had was not turbo or awd. i can only seem to find pictures of that type of bumper on either a turbo or a awd. the bumper on my 91 talon right now, i never see any like it. the bottom doesnt have a gap or an openning and it just looks odd. thanks.

You have a 90-91 n/t Talon bumper. You are looking for a 90-91 Talon Turbo bumper. AWD or not, doesn't matter, just turbo.

Best bet would be the boneyard or a partout.

The 1990 eclipse had the same bumper as his current bumper.

The 1991 eclipse awd bumper is also the one he wants. I have 2 eclipses with each. And they both are stock, no bumper swaps.

he bought it of an ebay a 4 years ago,the scoop was made for STI and the shop put it on on his cf hood

The hood scoop is cool cause its different, but I am not a fan.

So the bumper you want can come from a 1991 talon or eclipse. The bumper you have is a talon eclipse or laser bumper. . . You see these are all the same car .

I'm just joking around. The point is that you don't need to look for a specific make. You DO need to look for a specific model. The 1991 eclipse or talon AWD has the front airdam you want. I LOVE that airdam. It is the best looking front end of all the years. The 1992 had no flipup lights and consequently had the curves inlaied in the top of the bumper skin, but even the GS n/t 46g3 car has the same airdam shape with the large flaring at the ends of the skin (just like my 1992 n/t eclipse: eclipse number 3). But no other year has the flip up lights AND the wide airdam. Just the AWD 1991. I'm not sure all AWD cars had this either. It could have been only a top trim option: cars that had fog lights.

my 91 talon has pop up headlights and does have fog light holes (they were taken out before being sold) even though it doesnt look like their would be room. i will take pics of my car this weekend. i had just recently got it and now its at my uncles being repaired so i havent had a chance yet. ill get a pic of a close up of the nose. seriously though, ive never seen a front bumper like mine. its weird and i hate it . but thanks for the information guys. also, if anyone has a nose like the one im looking for, private message me if wanting to sell. thanks again. this place is awesome!

Here's more, but I bet you've never seen a rear spoiler like that. My car had the fog lights, too, because it had the plugs in the harness at each hole on the end for it. They were removed by the PO because the passenger fog light is in the way of the stock IC duct:

It's a 1gb talon spoiler ontop of a 1990-1992 turbo spoiler. A bondo fiberglass kit and alot of sanding and you have a whale-tail look of a porsche for the most part. It was a neat project between rebuilds.

wow. thats pretty interesting. how long did it take?

8 or so hours. of pure sanding. I still wasnt happy with the finish. But it looked good at about 2 feet distance.

A better shot of my first pic to see the spoiler. The silhouette looks pretty good. But I don't have the patience for body work.
