I was driving along couple days ago and my switched lanes and now the left turn signal won't go off. and i can't switch to the right one now either. I was going to get my car inspected and now i have to wait till this is fixed. Got the electrical problem fixed now this.. I tell you these cars are a never ending issue.

It's usually the turn signal lever switch.

I had mine switched. It was about 40 bucks for an OEM one.

Yeah, it's probably the pivot point for the lever. Mine broke on my previous 2G, and it did the same thing yours is doing. Stuck blinking left, couldn't turn it off or activate the right blinker.

I can't remember how much the part was (this was back in 2001) or how much it was to install, but it was reasonable.

Mine was bad too. I was too cheap to buy a new one, so I opened the turn signal switch box up and Fixed it.

There is a small plastic PIN that goes in between the left and right signal switch. It is connected to the turn signal lever, so when you flip the lever the pin hits the correct switch. Well that PIN breaks off....that is why your left turn signal is stuck on. All I did was drilled a 1/16" hole in the end of the lever where the pin was. Then I used a small piece of coat hanger and stuck it in the hole. Now you have a metal PIN and its Much stronger!

Try the local wrecking yards. Im sure you could get one off a car for 1\4 that price.

i had the exact same problem. switch costed about $60 bucks at advance auto

BTW if yall get these from a junk yard make sure that its for your model car because turn signal switch from a 95 gsx will NOT fit a 97 gst.

LMFAO wait this is a thread from 2008 WTF
