Now plug in the usb to serial adaptor in the car into the PC. Windows will install drivers for the ATEN device. If it does not, go to ATENs website and install the drivers.

I went to the web site but dont know what exactly to look for.
can someone just tell me the what driver i need to download. or a link to where i can download this driver from.

Most people use a Keyspan adapter for a USB-Serial conversion. The DSMLink forums have a list of adapters that work well for DSMLink.

i dont need the adapter i just need the driver so that when i plug it in to the usb port on the laptop, it will connect with the ecu on the car.
