Fuel pressure regulator runs higher base pressure (43.5psi vs. 37psi). Stock 1g manual injectors with the stock 1g manual fuel pressure regulator only flow 6.5% more fuel than the automatic (415cc vs. 390cc). And the higher pressure and smaller pintle gives the auto injector better atomization. Better atomization leads to more detonation resistance. So the 6% difference isn't as important as many think.
The 13g is a td04. It is tiny. But no smaller than the t25, stock for all 2g turbo DSMs. Actually, flows a little better on the compressor.
The automatic cam duration is small. The 1990-1992 maunal turbo cars have a higher duration intake cam. The 1993-1994 manual turbo cars have a SLIGHTLY higher lift intake and exhaust cam. AND both intake and exhaust cams have more duration. This is what makes the 1993 1994 cam better more duration on both cams, not the minute increase in lift, that can wear away simply from 100Kmiles of daily driving.
FWIW, my brother has a completely stock automatic head in his 5speed 2g car. The smaller cams don't loose that much up top and have GREAT torque. Superfast spool and good follow through. We will be dynoing the direct swap to manual cams in the next month.
