So i just finished replacing my OEM clutch with a fidanza 2.1 carbon kevlar street disk kit and TOB. Had the flywheel resurfaced. New slave cylinder. So now i have everything put back together and have the clutch bled extensivly.
The problem: Now the shifter feels tight moving left to right and i cant get it to stay locked into 1st and 3rd. I can hold it in 1st and 3rd but it usually grinds back out. 2nd 4th and 5th will lock in but it sure dosent feel like it did before i took the tranny out.
Could this be the linkage needing adjustment?
Could the syncros have magically gone bad while the tranny was sitting in my garage for the 3 weeks?
Could it be that the master cylinder linkage rod needs to be adjusted out?
I really am stumped on this one!
