no to long ago i came here asking u guys about 3 codes my ecu poped up. it was the balometric sensor, temp sensor and maf.
all these codes pinted straight to the actual ecu. so i replaced it with anothr one and...wala!!! runs smooth like babys butt and no more cel. so ready for emissions tomorrow haha hell yeah!!
when my car was with the bad ecu, it f#@king stunk! it smelled like rotten eggs and gas at the same time. idle sucked and it would take some time to start when it was cold. i was also reading that sometimes the car wont even start in most cases when this happens.
also.....automatic ecu's on a manual will not work. i tried three of them and car would crank but no start. idk if its because automatics have powered windows and other stuff but the point is that....car no go go, on automatic ecu. i would of posted some pics of the ecus but my phone broke.
anyways, hope this is helpfull guys and if your car pulls these codes all of a suden....u know what to look for.
