Hey guys im deleting my emissions stuff as we speak and im wondering what to do with my charcoal canister. if thats even what im looking at. Its the thing on the front left driver side of the car right behind the bumper. Idk if all the stuff ppl have said about 2g's apply to the 98 and 99s but is this even a charcoal canister? do i possibly have two? and do i just disconnect everything and let it hang? ### help asap

Do a search. I swear I just answered this question a few days ago in another thread.

Chuck it and loop the in/out vacuum lines.

x2 I usually just leave the shit open and loop it on the motor, not on the body.

Side note: if you dont have dsmlink installed, you'll get a lovely lil CEL eventually about it.

Hmm, I don't get a CEL for it. Err that is to say I didn't when I had a stock ECU and was running without the evap canister for many years. I have dsmlink now though.

ok so i ripped it out and i either have three or four lines that came out of it. which is which and what can i do with each? btw what a pita thought i could just unbolt it but know you had to take the bumper off but did i?? no haha i wiggled it back and forth until the metal ripped. i will take the rest of the bracket out when i take my bumper off to put my intercooler in.:thumb:
