I read that they don't hold high boost...Will I be ok with this gasket at 15 psi on a 50 trim? I have a bad leak and need to fix it asap...I will be ordering the oem one later on. Should I be ok? I will be keeping 15 psi all winter.

Idk about Felpro, but Im pretty sure they wouldnt make these if they wont hold boost. Expecially 15psi on a 50 trim. Boost the hell out of it, and see what happends. Its a gasket, big deal. And no, I wouldnt RTV it...it should seal fine just the way it is. I dont think youre suppose to anyway.

Ok I was doing some reading and I saw that people were rtving them...Yea I did a blt and found out that I blew the gasket..

I always put a thin bead of rtv on my intake manifold gasket. Just put it around where the openings are for the ports.

On the felpro gasket they have little orange rings around the ports that may be the rtv already.

I just sprayed copper gasket on my intake and head gasket. I have both Felpro's and I boost 15lbs daily driver.

How much do you think these can hold? Should I spray it or rtv it?

I didn't want to make a new thread so I figured I could just post this here. I've searched but I could not find a direct answer. Well here's the deal, I ordered a intake manifold gasket from a vendor here it was the Magnus heat barrier one. I ordered it almost 2 weeks ago with some other things and received everything but the gasket of corse. Now I'm in need to get my car Running ASAP and I was wondering if I could just rtv the manifold. Would it hold under boost? If so anyone know about how much? This would only be temporary also.
