i just took my car out and ran it pretty hard. I have the stock bov back on and i did not recirculate it anyways i was driving down the road about 120 in 5th and all of a sudden it started skiping real bad like it was almost impossable to get it back home.when i got i home i looked under the car and their is a huge hole about 1 or so long in my downpipe(stock downpipe) and did not notice any thing under the hood wrong. and yes i did recirculate my bov.

Pull your O2 housing and check the Turbo.

Any unusual oil under the car?

Their isnt any oil under the car. and i dont know if this matters much but my in dash boost gauge was still reading the turbo at full boost.thanks if you know any more please get back to me.

I just went out and took the pipe that goes to the turbo to the mass and wiggled the shaft that the turbo blade is on and their is a lot of play.so is that normal or bad?.thanks

thats not good at all.....the hotside wheel might have come apart..ive never heard of a wheel tearing through exhaust piping though....take off the o2 housing and have a look

i think u might have misunderstood me sorry my fault. i took the factory pipe from the mass to the turbo off just to see the wheel and thats when i wiggled the shaft that the wheel is on and noticed the play in it

your turbo has 2 wheels....one in the compressor housing and the other in the exhaust housing.....it is possible that the wheel in the exhaust side came apart causing the bearings to fail resulting in the shaft play. Take off the o2 housing to get a better idea.

well if you checked for shaft play it shouldn't be more than 1mm. ...how much boost are you running and did you change your injectors yet?
:talon:

i am running 10 lbs steady and i did not change my injecters. I did not fell a need for it being a stock turbo setup.thanks
