Kitchener,
I know the boot on my driveshaft is worn, can I buy the parts and replace them or do I need to buy a whole new bearing?

no on the actually shaft it self there are 2 carrier bearings and rubber around them, the rubber is worn pretty bad and i want to know if I can just buy replacement rubber or if there is a trick to fixing it>

i checked vfaq and there was nothing on the boot that the carrier bearing is on? none has changed a carrirer bearing here and had to remove the rubber around it? if so was it seperate from the bearing it self?

I have a brand new carrier bearing and it is not possible to replace anything on it. The only thing you can do is to fill the outer ring with silicone in order to re-stabilize the bearing. Cost me over a hundred dollars from Satan for a new unit.
