fuel pressure on a afpr

Hi all I have 2 intank 255lph hp fuelpump -8 an fuel feed line and -6 return line,using 880cc injectors and stock fuel rail on a 2.4 liter 4g64 engine.
My question is at how many psi should the pressure be?

For a 2g 43.5 psi. Set the fuel pressure with the vacuum line unplugged.

Yea low 40's is average but it really depends on your engine management, tune, etc... Depends on who tunes and how. Most people set FP and then tune accordingly but small FP adjustments can be used as a tuning tool.

Wait...what? What car do you drive? Fuel pressure depends greatly on the car. A 1g is 37 psi. A 2g is set to 43.5 psi. As for a 96 Galant...who knows.

I have a 1996 galant 4g64 2.4l with a 1g 4g63 head, fully built.

This is a bit way over my head. I'd use 43.5 psi and tune from there. Hopefully someone else can chime in on it since I'm not familiar with that system.

Usually the fuel pressure is decided by what the ECU is programmed for but with a standalone you can run whatever your fuel system can support. 43.5psi (3 bar) is a good place to start at since that pressure is where the injectors are rated at.
