hello,
i just want to know which will be my best option on a motor swap, i have a non turbo eclipse 1991, and i was thinking on a eclipse turbo cyclone engine, or an evo engine also could be the 3.0l twin turbo 3000gt engine, but i really dont know which one will fit??

thanks

A DSM 4g63, or an Evo3 4g63 will be drop in propositions. This is by far your best option.

The Evo 8/9 4g63s will physically fit, but then you need to custom make just about everything.

I'm not even sure if a 6g72 could physically fit in the bay; I've never seen one out of a car.

just swap in a 6 bolt 4g63t. the 3kgt vr4 engine would require a crazy ton of fabrication work to get the engine in the bay then you'd have to fab in the tranny. As for the evo engine. The 4g63t from the a DSM is basically the same engine from an evo but the evo's throttle body is on the right, where as the DSM's 4g63's throttle body is on the left. If you already have the non-turbo 4g63 you can just do the NT to turbo conversion which there are a billion threads about.
