I have a 1g awd trans i know someone that needs a awd trans but his car is a 2g. Is there any way to make that work out?

I've been told only with 23 spline, and something about swapping out the shift levers on the case... I don't know first hand though

And I think you have to use the 2g transfer case on the 2g, because of drive axle splines... but I don't know for sure either... If the tranny is out, it won't be hard to verify the transfer case.

No, it can't be done. The 2g has 3 mounts on the trans and one on the engine. The 1g has one mount on the trans and three on the engine.
