i recently just swapped heads on my 95 evo III motor. the motor is in a eclipse 1g non turbo car... ouch! so my ? is why do i now not have spark.. i got fuel. also my neo is telling me that my tps hos only like 1.0 volts all the time.. regaurdless if i open the throt or close it. could it be my tstat housing sensors? i broke one that had a t-connetor and i dont have it plugged in now... why no spark though!????

did you hook up the crank angle sensor properly?

yes and i pulled numerous plugs and wires chenckin for spark... none.. im swappin coils to check that but i got my doubts... i had every plug in its rightful place. aside from one t- connector on the tstat housing.also i just hooked up the neo.. it IS working proporly but it keeps telling me that my tbs sensor is at a constant 1.0 volts... regaurdless if the throttle is open or closed.. its the same.:rolleyes:

Check the wiring for any broken cables, also take a look at the ecu, check if its fried

Ecu is great... its bran new..motoguys garage socketed with 550cc chip and all the optoins for rev controls if ya know what i mean:sneaky:.....at any rate.. i just took the wires to the tps out of the clip.... and i got volts perfect by touching the red and white wire together... i had 0.0 when none were touching and 5.0 immidiatly when the red and white wire touched.. so it has to be the tps... (new tps timeLOL........ but i still dont understand why i dont have any spark.... could some one tell me what the importance of the thermostat housing sensors are?... because i destroyed one that had 2 prongs in the shape of a T... and i think that might have something to do with the spark trouble.

A broken temp sensor should not be the cause of a no spark situation. DSM ecu's are very unstable and can be damage very quickly if any wires get cross, did you take a look at the ecu after the no spark or before?

that would be your temp sensor my friend i had DESTRYOED mine and then i fixed it EASY!!!

thats what i was thinking.... because when i first started this rig after the first motor install i forgot that one and chewed my girlfriend a new one cuase i couldnt get it running... went home and looked up the wiring and found that it was my fuel temp sensor or something like that... any ways hooked it up and sure as s*** it fired.... so im guessing i could get a new one at auto zone or car quest or some like that.. heck even the junk yard... but about my ecu... no way in hell is that thing bad... it dont smell.. and the caps on it look good... and the logger i hooked up says some about missing sensor so.... ya ill take this advise:dsm:
