i wanna swap my 95 gst auto to a manual trans and wanted to know what manual trans will fit my car.

You are going to need a transmission from a FWD 2g that came with a 4g63 or the spyder that came with the 4g64. There are even some of the Galant transmissions you can use but I forgot what years. The reason that you would be better off using the 2g tranny instead of using the 1g tranny is because the 1g tranny doesnt have the provisions for the front and rear mounts on it. On a 1g the front and rear mounts are located on the engine where as the 2g has them located on the transmission. Which means if you put a 1g trans in a 2g you wont be able to just bolt it in using the existing front and rear mounts. You would have do some custom work to get the way it should be.`

When I did the swap on my 95 TSi FWD I used a trans from a 98 GS-T. Worked just fine.

Yeah that is because it was a tranny swap from a FWD 2g to a Fwd 2g. There is nothing complicated about it.

and I think you can use the 94 Galant GS tranny that had the 4g64 2.4 DOHC but youll have to use the axles as well. im trying to find that out now /-:
