i had a broken wire when i pulled back the casing to see...i fixed it and now it runs sweet agin.

I had the EXACT same problem. After pulling the rubber boot off of the injector connector, one wire was broken, yet sitting right next to its opposing broken part. The capacitance between the two connections will still give you your 12Volts, but if you were to put an scope on that injector line, you would see a capacitive discharge, rather then the usual fly back spike upon discharge. This means the injector is getting energized, but not opening.

Pull the boot and make sure your wires are snugly connected.

Next I would check the ballast resistor pack, and finally the driver outputs on the ECU if nothing else is found. Make sure the ground on the ECU isn't blown ie. the trace on the board smoked from a short.
