Im not a 2g expert but that sounds more like the dreaded crank walk symptom..

I would say with a bad clutch it would be hard to just Go into gear or slip, Not just one gear over another, that would be a bad syncro... PUSH the clutch to the floor does the car try to die..

It seems like when i had my bov vented. I have a video of when it happend. Its when i was pulling in the drive way you can hear the motor turn off and on a few times(you cant really hear it with laptop speakers), and the lights on the dash (oil, CEL, batt. i think) went on and off a few times. Heres a link. Its from 24-30sec when you can here it cutting on and off.

i had the clutch pushed in, but i think the problem is my BOV. I did some more test today and when i get to about 8psi there is a real loud whistle sound that continues until i change gears or let off the throttle. I was thinking it was my turbo spooling up but its a t25, and it didnt sound like that before i put the fmic on. I think my bov is opening some at 8psi and staying open until i let off the throttle.
(Broken bov = boost leak and boost leak = random stalling)
I will change some things and do some more test tomorrow. Thanks:dsm:

I re routed my fmic pipes(short route) and i have had the BOV since Dec 2007. i took the BOV off and opened it and it seems like the springs in it are weak.(Its a fake type s) Im not sure what the membrain is supposed to look like but it doesnt haave any holes in it. I can take pic if that would help.
