okay the other day my brother offered to race his 2002 427 vet for pinks against any dsm.. i've been out of the sceen for a while and we are both moving and getting an awesome job.. that we get paid $1500 weekly so money wouldn't be a problem.. so what would i have to do to engine trany weight reduction....ect to win my self a little vet.. need some advice on which dsm to get and what good options are.. any opions helps me on getting a vet so please post and add advice.

What happens if you loose, you loose your car? I would never race for slips even if you do have the faster car anything can happen and you can loose, not cool thumbs down.

Thats what you need to beat his 427. If its anything like my buddies 05 427, your going to need 600WHP+ to beat him..

Why not just find somebody with an already built dsm and buy it off of them, win the pink, then sell it back.
Doug has the best solution, as for us to provide some sort of actual list of required modifications while we don't even know if that's a stock 427 would be ridiculous.

As for the ethical considerations certainly comes into play toward building something just to take away someone else's ride. If you want the vehicle so badly and money is no object then just buy the vehicle. If you are only there for the challenge, as previously mentioned there are dozens of dsm's that could spank the pant off of your brother's ride.
