I installed a 1G TB on my 2G GSX recently and I notice when I accelerate the gas pedal is stiff as a bored and I have to push firmly and the car jerks because the TB sticks. I took off the Tb and cleaned it out good and I turned the spring and it feels like the plate sticks and you have to pull the spring a bit more to get out of the stuck position. I tried to clean it out as much as I can and sprayed it down with silicone spray and still the same thing. Tried searching but no one has similar results. Any ideas on how to fix this? thanks

There should be a screw to set the throttle plate spring (Im not talking about the regular screw that its made to adjust idle). 1g´s have it. Its on top of the spring, if you are missing it, thats the reason of the problem, if you have one, probably someone touched it and misadjusted it. Look for a manual, and try to adjust it. Also check for the throttle cable, it should have some slack. Try different settings. Good luck. :thumb:
