oil problem...oil pump is dry

alright so i had my car looked at by a mech. and he noticed that my turbo was smoking so i had one of my buddies call a friend and he hooked me up with a rebuilt Td05 and so were switching out the turbos and all that stuff and we noticed that there wasnt any oil coming out when they took the hose off the turbo...changed my oil about 3 weeks ago and put a new filter on and all that happy jazz... and we looked and the oil filter is crushed and alkl dented...i dont have any idea what is going on.... ### help asap

alright took the filter off....a bunch of shavings....were taking to turbo off to look inside...just hoping it was from the turbo housing....but ### post some info...i need help....

...alright took the turbo apart its done for...the housing is all messed up...but i got the td05 for it ready to go....bad news....a bunch of metal shavings in the engine....getting it rebuilt....i think it was just the engines time to go...178xxxx miles....so yea...but the talon shall be ready soon
