Well last week I installed:
-Import Evolution feed line and filter
-Import Evolution AFPR kit

I set base FP at around 43psi with OUT the vacuum line, drops down to about 35psi WITH the vacuum line ON.

Last night I installed my Walbro 255 and now the BASE FP with OR without the vacuum line on and FP is at 45psi!?

I tried adjusting it down [while hot] and it does NOT go lower than 45psi [it adjusts higher though] WTF

So am I supposed to do it while COLD only? Did I miss something somewhere down the line? :|

It should'nt matter if it hot or cold, Just start the car, pinch the reference line (vacuum line) on the FPR and set accordingly. So your saying you can screw the adjustment screw all the down and it will not drop the pressure below 45 psi?

All the way in = higher pressure :thumb:

"screwing" it OUT lowers pressure, BUT in this case it DID NOT want to go below 45psi with the line ON OR OFF!

Unhook your line after the reg and run it into a bucket to see if it's a restriction.

Hmmm, good idea. Maybe theres some crap blocking my return.

BUT, wouldn't I have that problem even with the stock pump? With the stock pump I was able to lower pressure to the 20's and as high as 75psi. Now with the Walbro 255hp its 45...

I'll give it a shot though, thanks!

MODS - Label this one RESOLVED :thumb:

After some heavy cursing I had the stock return line off [rubber one, from FPR to stock hard line]. Having the hose in hand I tried blowing air through it [by mouth] and almost NO air would go through!

I took a utility knife to it and I found a rubber piece [probably from the hose being old] in it blocking off the flow. WTF

MORAL OF THE STORY:
Replace the return when installing your FPR!! OR at least check that its in good shape and not clogged! :sneaky:
