Boost control recommendations

I had the mbc tuned perfectly last night. Had it adjusted to 15 psi. The car was definitely performing like I wanted it to. I get up this morning and its all outta whack again. Its at 5 psi in 1st gear, 10 at 2nd and 3rd, and around 11 at 4rth and 5th. I'm guessing its due to the temperature change over night.

I thought mbc were supposed to be more accurate than electronic boost controllers. Am I incorrect about this? I was told an electronic boost controller would prevent the problem I having resetting the boost controller all the time. Is there anyone that could recommend a cheap electronic boost controller?

i have $10 ebay mbc and it work great, and yes most mbc are quite accurate; it seem like you need to check for boost leaks.

yeah, you might want to check for boost leak, that will cause it to boost wrong....i bought one ebay mbc call nxs mbc with bronze finish and ball/spring type for $15....works perfect and easy...make sure the hook up is correct though..

Is anyone using the boost pro to test for leaks? It was doing some research on it, looks like a great way to test for leaks since I have noticed my boost doing the same thing at times.

I actually haven't did a boost leak test yet. Its on my to do list. Just replaced the ecu. The typical cap leak. It kept pressure last night though. The whole time I drove it. Can a boost leak only occur sometimes? Also, what is boost pro.

Build some thing like this tester.

Works fine and you can get the parts from your local hardware store. I just use the pressure gauge on the tank's regulator or get my little bro to just watch the boost gauge in the car. This just clamps onto the compressor side inlet.
