oil leak on exhaust

I have a 95 GST bone stock other than BOV and Intake. About 2 days ago I replace the the exhaust with a full turbo back Bolt-On 3" exhaust I used all new gaskets when putting it on. Now I am having a problem with oil leaking some where, I see it on the outside of the down pipe and it looks like some is dripping from the flex in the down pipe. I think I may have Blow down from the turbo and was wondering if I was correct, what I need to to correct the problem, and also how serious is this problem?

There are tons of places the oil could be leaking from and working its way down to the exhaust. If you can't find the leak(s), bring it to a shop that gives free estimates. Let them find the leak(s) and then you can decide if it is something you want to try to fix. If you decide to fix it then we can help you. Right now, it would just be a guessing game for us on what is leaking.

I can't imagine what you could have done by replacing an exhaust from the turbo back that would cause an oil leak. During the process you should not have had to loosen anything that would cause this to happen.

Do you have any smoke from the exhaust as well, or is it just a standard oil leak from somewhere? Do you see the oil on the DP on the vertical section (directly under the turbo), or is it after the bend under the car?

If it's just a leak, depending on how clean your engine is, you will have to crawl under the car to investigate the source.

Dripping on the flex section could be anywhere from the pan, VC, a couple of plugs that are on the side of the block, etc.

On the DP vertical section it could be from a leaky turbo, VC, a plug on the front of the engine, around the oil cooler/filter housing, etc.

I'd check the turbo's oil drainback line first. You probably bumped it, if it's old it would be the likely source IMO. Your profile is not filled out, if the car still has the original T25 then that line has probably never been touched.

it's proably just the gasket between the oil return line and the turbo. it's like a $1 so it's not going to hurt to try.

That's where mine is leaking from . It's also possible you had an oil leak all along, and now it is visible w/ the shiny downpipe on.

Okay so yes to the smoke, and the oil is dripping out of the flex section as in it is in the down pipe but it is also on the outside of the down pipe. When my friend gets off at 4 im gonna check to see if the turbo is blown. I am going on the theory that with the new exhaust is allowing the turbo to push more than it has before and may have cause the seals to go out. I am going to clean all the oil off and have a serious diagnosis tonight. If the turbo is blown a buddy has a t25 for next to nothing. I had the same trouble when my stock turbo blew. Smoke out the back by the firewall. flex section leakin oil. White smoke everywhere. It bogged my intake up so bad it wouldn't start.

Okay its oil return line has a small crack in it i have a buddy that has 1g i was wondering if that would work? Someone let me know please ASAP.

It will work, but you'll have to port/drill the bolt holes on the turbo flange of the oil drain hose to fit the underside of the T25.

Bring it back from the died. I have this same problem. I change the turbo to another one and its still leak for the flex. Do anyone know what this could be? My old turbo was a 16g and it was full of oil. Now i have a 14b on there and there is oil still leaking. I just had the head rebuild and the block. Ther was no oil in the exhaust ports.
